Drich and I - the first time either of us saw snow. We were at a ski lodge in Virginia.

Drich is punching way above his weight there.

My dad told me long time ago. Find the prettiest girl out of a group and start talking with her like you have known her all her life. You will get 10 no's for every one yes, but when you do it will be well worth it. For once he was right. Sometimes it was a while between girlfriends, but they all have been way way outside of my league.. When I found one way, way Way outside of my league I stole my grandmother's diamond away from my sister and asked her to marry me.. When she said no I asked Trich, and the rest is history.

Anyway, here's your seasonal update on my majestic, flowing locks.

I'm sad to say that I haven't, but I used to live close enough that I heard plenty about it. Besides, it's the only ski resort in Virginia I've ever heard of. :p

We drove up in my dad's mini van, and we put a twin bed in the back so one could sleep and the other drive (16 hours from orlando.) on the way back I got up super early loaded the van checked out and got us on the road. I drove like 12 hours at that point had been up for 16 and I start to do the head bob around midnight. So we pull in to a truck stop to switch. Trich loads up on energy drinks and get a 32 oz cup 1/2of liquid sugar, the other half French vanilla cream, with a splash of coffie for color. She gets in and drives and I go out right away.. Then I awake to the sounds of the rumble strips, and the van swerving from side to side. I ask what is wrong, she says.. Tired can't drive any more... I ask for the time.... IT Had Only Been 20 Mins! Literally!!! I don't think she even made it to the next rest stop. We had to pull over and I finished driving...

That is what I will remember the most from that trip. That and thunderbird dinner at the entrance of the ski lodge had squirrel's brains scrambled with eggs on the menu. I forgot what they called it but it did not sound like something I wanted to try.

Drich lives in Fairy Land. I drove for AT LEAST and hour before running off the road That was on the way home, on the way there we left at midnight and I drove the 1st 8 hours to Georgia while he slept but he "doesn't remember" that part.
