My favorite trick back when I juggled was blind juggler. I was better at keeping my friend juggling with his eyes covered than I was at being the blind juggler. Now my vision is wonky and my wrist is arthritic. Enjoy it while you can.

As a guitarist, I can definitely agree: we all get better working with our hands when we don't have a girlfriend.

Normally if I'm seeing something I just have something better to do with my time. I haven't really measured it, but I probably spend more time on Atheist forums too. Although right now I'm sort of seeing someone, although she is a juggler so there is no time compromise there.

I've found that when I don't have a girlfriend I get much better at juggling.

As a guitarist, I can definitely agree: we all get better working with our hands when we don't have a girlfriend.

But... then you have to explain why I get better at hooping (gyrating) when I don't have a significant other. Maybe I should chuck the hoops and take up juggling. Seems I'm doing it wrong :p

Yeah juggling has been good to me. I met my current wife more than 30 years ago at a place called the Dance Jam. I used to bring my juggling bags there and juggle and move around in time to the music. She is the only one I ever met there as I only went to spend time around people without talking a lot when I wasn't looking to meet any one.

But girls and hoops go together very well.

My name is Keli. But u can call me okie. I recently came out as an atheist to my friends and family. I surprisingly got s good reception...just the usual "we love you's" and "we'll pray for you "and so on. I was so worried at first mainly Bc of my living in the buckle of the Bible belt. But I've come to terms with it and am free and happier than I've ever been. I am an activist type person but my hubby has to remind me that because I'm a teacher I will need to tone it down at work...which I agree. I wont wear t shirts with FSM on them or atheist quotes....and because I love my Jeep I wont get a Dawkins A or a Darwinian fish with legs sticker anytime soon. Lol.

I just turned 40 yesterday. Wish I'd have figured all this out and had the courage to be an atheist sooner....but it was gradual and due to my indoctrinated upbringing, it wouldn't have made sense for it to have happened any other way I guess. Anyway...I'm here and look forward to some stimulating conversations!
