So if I sink in to the baht tub , the water level goes down.
When the cannon ball is in the boat, it displaces its weight.
When the cannon ball is in the lake, it displaces its volume.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

Yeah , i didn't take in consideration that while in the boat , her mass displaced more volume because of the size of the ship.

It’s not shape, it’s volume, which is a combination of both dimension and shape. Take a normally bouyant ship, keep its mass and shape exactly the same, but reduce its dimension by 50%, and it will sink faster than the land of the free under Donald Trump. But what you don't seem to get is that the water level went down because it displaced more water when on the boat , so when throwed in to the water displaced less volume then when it was on the boat. That is why the water level went down not up.
