Not sure this is really jazz, but I do like Colin Stetson.

Actually I'm quite taken with some of John McLaughlin's jazz-blues fusion. If that's the correct term for it. He drifts between the two and he does it seamlessly, good stuff.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

Reasons to love this specific jazz/funk fusion recording. Reasons #1-#999:

Recorded in nineteen seventy motherfucking three.

And yes that is an ARP synthesizer in case you weren't wondering.

And in case your music taste sucks so bad that you still hate all jazz including jazz elements and jazz inspiration in songs!.........

Take this song and shove it up your butt:

And if you don't like it, fuck off and eat my dick and you're most likely as musically impatient as you are tasteless Dunno

I detest people who detest jazz.

An eternity, or is that an infinity? In heaven listening to John Coltrane and his fucking trumpet? Please kill me now.

An eternity spent listening to Coltrane play his fucking trumpet would be awful.

But before you write him off, you might want to listen to his sax work.   Tongue

A world without A Love Supreme is just . . . a mistake.

If you have even a passing familiarity with Johnny Dankworth and Cleo Laine then now is the time to fess up. All your life experiences are tainted by the foul pestilence that is Punk Rock/Jazz music. You're mind has been poisoned.

I also despise:

Country Music.
Folk music.
Morris Dance music.
That particularly shouty extreme heavy metal.
Mumford and fucking sons.
Oasis.
Opera
Blues
Elvis Presley

and many many more.
