Nope, he's just as big an atheist as I am. But he was raised Roman Catholic. Seems like childhood indoctrination tends to push some young people even further away from God. He hates religion partly from experiencing that nonsense firsthand.

I saved an otter from a net before... the 'scream/squeak/yelp'ing noise is a horrible thing to hear for me. As much as the roar of the mountain lion terrifies me, the pitiable noise made by the otter hurts me. My favorite creature of the sea is the sockeye salmon, and I hope to see many many more of them this year (in the nets).

Welcome, IronicAlchemist. I hope to never encounter an otter in my life again, especially one in pain/terror.
