If you feel you have to justify your your own sexuality there is something dodgy about that. Personally, I think there are some seriously dodgy people around here.

Wouldnt be suprising, Jesus have been potraited with long hair which women just had during that time period. The fashion for men was strictly short hair and having no facial hair.

Just want to air some opinions here.

Well I think this has been mentioned before, but atheists are, to extents, less constrained by, should I say, moral standards. We are able to think and feel according to our inclinations and temptations; we have our own obligations which are not dictated by an age-old book. If I'm not wrong, there's a passage in the Bible that doesn't encourage, crudely quoted, men who lay with other men like they would lay with a woman. So yeah, I think even if a Christian had homosexual inclinations, he'd have more resistance to it compared to an atheist who justifies himself. Of course, this excludes the homophobic atheists who feel strongly against the matter, but what the heck!

Also, I believe this does have relation to the exposure. Once again, the atheists are exposed to more radical viewpoints, allowing themselves to read and consider alternative viewpoints, unlike some Christians who are born and trained to be narrow-minded. So its kinda like desensitization, or its greater scope of acceptance and hence being prone to influence.

So yeah, I know my points aren't really formed, but that's what I think. :/

In OZ asserting your sexuality can be a health issue as poofter bashing remains popular in some circles. To be fair, I haven't heard of a fatality for some time.
