There's a practince called "punching down" where a group of bozos on social media can gang up on you and fill your timeline with shit at the behest of someone with a lot of follwers.  The Church of Satan did that to me on Shitter, before I knew it was a thing.  Never mind that we have the same ideology, I've been forever alienated. I'd go back to Catholicism before I had anything to do with the Church of Satan.

Apart from BSI, I’m not much of a joiner. But I think I’d be more likely to support The Satanic Temple than LaVey’s group.
