It's a really solid moral framework to base an individual's ethics upon, but ultimately I do think it falls short in someways; most of all being too utopian and believing that all people are inherently "good" and that evil is a choice or failure of an otherwise good person.

Hello new entity and welcome to the forum. Could I interest you in creating an 'Introduction' thread so that all of us could become better acquainted?

Just a little passive-aggressive, huh?

It fits perfectly within the narcissist spectrum.

Are you sure it worked? Because I have to say, you seem pretty possessed by anger and hatred on here... it came as a real surprise to me when you said you were a Buddhist; based on the vitriol I've seen so far, I'd assumed you were Christian.

For instance I've been on a Buddhist forum, and it's (or at least the one I went to, buddhismwithoutboundaries) a completely different experience from here or any other forum I've been on. Most people are matter of fact, to the point, respectful, it's just all very neutral and detached, as I associate with Buddhism. They don't rant, they don't rave, they don't say any more than they need to. It makes for an arguably boring experience... not somewhere you'd go for excitement... but nonetheless a peaceful one. For me, it makes for a nice change of pace when I need one.

So god is your pacifier

A real pacifier has a piece of plastic that keeps the infant from swallowing it.    He is choking on his god after swallowing it, so his god would not have passed consumer safety inspection.

Missed that one, full on nuts. Damned shame what gods do to people.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

A Buddhist? Sure I partake in the divine Soma,
glad tidings to one's Soul, uplifter of spirits,
a new Buddha for the world to see his merits,
I was speaking of Kaneh Bosm or Haoma,

it is known so variously throughout,
the Soul of the Prophet he gives,
the followers are the one who receives,
this most wonderful gift and clout,

What potent learnings about the Soul,
does one begin to ascertain,
when they read scripture with an unlocked brain,
But this to you should be your goal,

Also do not mistake a little good fun as anger and hatred, I only mean to mock atheists for their spiritual dilemma, in an effort to show them their hypocritical beliefs.

You seem angry at atheists.

Did one take your dolly from you?

Were you being naughty?

Did the dolly touch you in a naughty place?
