I know a guy who's wife worked for a big tobacco company. She was transfered to Colorado Springs and their house had a huge floor to ceiling picture window that looked onto Pikes Peak. Breathtaking! They decorated their whole living room around that massive view, so as to give it center stage sorta speak.
The wife was transfered to Ohio a month later.

I've never seen any mountains that really stood out from any others so I thought I'd post this picture of the Yellowstone Grand Canyon.
Easily one of the most awe inspiring things I have ever seen in my life, but this picture doesn't really give you a good idea of its true beauty. You can take a trail right down the very edge of the falls where the water goes off of the cliff. It is truly spectacular.

Yellowstone, the largest dormant volcano in north America, if I'm not mistaken, is spectacular.
And to think there are people who have houses in the park itself. What a view to wake up to every morning. No matter where one is located, it has to be awe inspiring to watch the sun come up on such a magnificent landscape. Not to forget all the wildlife wandering and flying around. Elk, Grizzly, Bobcats, Cougars, Eagles, and more.

I saw the title of this thread and immediately checked if it wasn't the NSFW forum of another site.

I spent a couple of weeks in the Yellowstone area last month for my parent’s 50th anniversary. Got this pic of Yellowstone Falls.
The canyon is spectacular.
So are the Grand Tetons. This is an early morning shot of Mount Woodring in the Grand Tetons from campsite 17 on the northeast shore of Bearpaw lake.

It is far from the most spectacular mountain in the range.
Then there are the bears.

Gorgeous! Thank you for adding those photo's to this thread.
Did you take the shot of the Grizzly? If so, I'll presume you used a telephoto lens, since that's a cub with her.
I love Grizzly. They're so beautiful. And there's a old man that has a cabin in bear country, the show is repeated now and then on cable, where all kinds of bear, from Grizzly to black, visit him. And so far, he's not become lunch. Lucky bastard. For the bear visits, not the lunch part. OK, that too but you know...

Thank you and yes that’s my picture of the bears. They were maybe 75 or 100 yards away. That sow had a pair of year old cubs. We saw them on two separate days in the same general area of the park. We saw another grizzly sow with a younger cub on the south side of Yellowstone Lake. There was also a black bear scratching its back on a tree and another that came down the bank walked down the side of the road about 3 feet from the car. I didn’t get any pictures of that one because I was driving, and it was on the passenger side. Finding bears in Yellowstone isn’t difficult. Just look for a bunch of people stopped in the middle of the road.
