I have come to believe this, but, hey, at least the lesser evil (at this point, the Democrats) is less batshit insane than the Republicans. I'm still holding out for the possibility that something changes, besides the Dems becoming more wishy-washy and the Republicans getting more batshit insane, and if it takes a zombie apocalypse to create a new political climate, so be it:

I'm Italian... I too feel your pain. But living in the U.S. and being an American citizen, why can't I have full American rights? *shakes fist*

Well, you're young yet right Frankie? All you need to do is get citizenship, work your way up through the public offices available to you until you have garnered enough favors and support, alter the laws regarding citizenship and the presidency...and then...you can run.

On the serious side, the fact that I am forced to employ game theory rather than vote for a candidate that actually represents anything I care about at all is disheartening. I understand that I have a difficult set of politcal leanings and that any candidate that would truly seem to be a decent one to me has a snowballs chance in hell of election, but I'm still deeply troubled by the circumstances surrounding the entire affair.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Ron Paul is one of the candidates who wants the government to stop bailing out big businesses, to stop having "corporate politics", and to focus on what government should be about; creating a country where people can be prosperous and free.
