I am no expert in economy or even that great in politics but I am pretty much a democrat. I believe in regulation on business or large corporation to prevent exploitation of workers or monopoly. For economy I support Social capitalism, or a balance between socialism and capitalism, I think going extreme on either side leads to corruptions, yet a balance between the two would ensure the rights for people to privately own wealth and get what they work for, yet at the same time lending a hand to aide others in society by giving them the opportunities to achieve better. I think it would stimulate the growth of a nation as a whole and ensuring that citizens have at least an adequate living condition.

I am unenthusiastically a democrat here in the U.S. of A. Of course, this party has rolled so far right of center as to virtually be the republican party from an earlier era. But then you look at how far right the republicans have moved and you just have to vote against them by voting for the party with the best chance of keeping that horror out of office.

I don't believe a candidate I could be enthusiastic about voting for would be electable in this country. So I'll just go on voting to keep the horror at bay.

The Tea Party wants to do something else entirely...lol. I sometimes get the feeling that they've become a mouthpiece for interests which are not their own without even realizing it...Thinking

You got that right. Tea baggers salute the American way even if that means embracing serfdom.

The sad part is ...it is no longer about those who are capable of running government but more of "what ideology" will you support?

Very much a religion has politics become with the views of the "Party faithful" drowning out all criticism and objections.

A bit of a correction here, in the last couple of years my political views have changed (even although I deny it myself sometimes). Overall they have shifted somewhat to the left and I am these days more of a 'ecosocialist' than anything else. Right now I cannot see myself supporting any political party in the state and federal parliaments apart from the Australian Greens.

While I recognize Israel's right to exist, I am more critical of their policies than I used to.

As an Australian I would advocate ending the Australian/US military alliance immediately.

I have come to realize that the Coalition powers should have not invaded Iraq in order to overthrow Saddam Hussein in the first place.

I have come to believe that we need to reduce the level of income inequality in society and maintain the high minimal wages we have here in Australia. Also I would advocate a more progressive income tax system than we currently have.

I have become a "rabid" secularist who advocates taxing organised religion, stopping government funding of religious institutions (including schools) and putting a separation of church and state clause in the constitution.

I believe Australians are using too much natural resources and could cut down on their consumption without affecting the quality of their lives (measurements of living standards a highly subjective in my opinion). Essentially they drive big fuel guzzling cars, live in over-sized energy inefficient houses and etc. Changing Australians lifestyles to be more sustainable environmentally would likely require measures which would be considered fascist by many. However I could not care less.

In my opinion Australia should wean itself off the dependence on coal for both electricity and export income and invest instead in nuclear power and solar.

I support whichever party that features the most alcohol, cannibus, and underaged girls. I don't know about the political thing.

I will only support a political party if I get to blow out the candles.
