At its core, US culture is so steeped in violence that even if Islamic terrorism went away, we would still be massacring innocents worldwide. Can you think of another country that devotes so much of its budget to war, while people at home suffer?

15 years ago today, US Marines massacred 24 unarmed Iraqi civilians, including a 1-year-old and a 76-year-old man in a wheelchair. Then they peed on the bodies. None of the Marines served jail time.

Is the US partly responsible for the rise in Islamist terror? Almost certainly. But, at it's core, radical Islam is so steeped in violence - and always has been - that Islamist terrorism isn't going to go away if the US stops funneling money and support its way.
