First time I saw Star Wars was the second week after its opening. We were also very "altered". I lost my mind in the opening scene, when I thought the *little* ship was world shaking.

I said the same thing about Star Wars in 77. I saw it a second time in an 'altered state' and believed I knew what R2D2 was beeping/whistling.
