My wife (Amazon customer rep) tells me that Canadians, in general are more rude on the phone than Americans,............ and French Canadians are the worst. I'm kinda surprised.
We haven't heard from The Valkyrie in a while. I hope all is well. I think it's been at least a week. IIRC, she's in Oceania, so it's vacation season down there.
Glad to hear that you're cancer-free. Another day above ground is a good one. I figured that once I passed it, every day after 65 is like money in the bank.
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2008 and underwent a radical prostatectomy in early 2009, followed by six weeks of radiation therapy. I've been cancer free ever since then, but I'll have to undergo periodic cancer screening for the rest of my life. I'll be 75 in March.
Neddless to say, I'm at about the highest risk out there, for prostate cancer, but I do appreciate Boru's joke about it. If we can't laugh at mortality, what's the alternative...fear it? Not me!
