I see pay as compensation for your time and effort, I think labourers should be entitled to good pay. Like I said, I'm not asking to be paid more, just more than I do. The company is rich enough.
All I ask, is a little fairness. For some reason, that boss who drives around in a fancy car and lives in a big house and his son gets all the same can't be fucked to listen nor care. Corruption my friend.
I've been behind a desk before, always got home with plenty of energy, no cuts or anything. When laboured, I was always worn out, marks all over and less pay. That's why I think it's perfectly fair to be paid more than we do. Not saying we should be paid more, just more than we do. At least desk workers still have energy at the end of the day.
One stressful aspect of desk jobs is humouring your colleague's whining about the new diet or upcoming holiday. You want to jump out a building I swear
Depends on the nature of the work, one time I found moving 20t of cement very rewarding, while taking a call from a irate customer behind a desk was torture to say the least
I'd like to see you spend 8 hours a day thinking about ways you could disembowel your least favourite colleague without attracting the attentions of police, while simultaneously staring at a blinkering screen constantly, getting fatter and less motivated every day
I'd love to see them do back breaking work for once. Come home with ruined clothes, cuts all over your hands and arms and receive in-proper pay. Pay should be decided by work load, takes a lot of effort to move cement, takes very little to press buttons behind a desk,
