I attend a C of E Church but am not especially attached to Anglicanism (whatever that is these days). Philosophically, I think Reformed Epistemology has opened up a great debate and I agree with much of what Plantinga et al. have been arguing, and ethics-wise I think Natural Law theory is on the money (and fits very well with RE actually). I am weakly inclined towards the view that non-reductive physicalism is correct regarding the mind-body problem. Other things? Ooh, an aesthetic realist. What about you? By the way, just been browsing your site and it looks superb. Stempy. RE: Stempy Signing In

My principle areas of interest and study in which I invest the majority of my time are philosophy, apologetics, and theology (in that order), with a keen interest in critical thinking, which governs all my pursuits. In philosophy I am interested in metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. In apologetics I am interested in defending the superiority of the Christian faith. In theology I am interested in defending the biblical faithfulness of the Doctrines of Grace. (1) I write on philosophical issues as a student of revelational epistemology. Although my language and presentations are typically contemporary, the views I defend are all based foundationally on and appeal to the revealed Word of God. (2) I write on apologetics as a student of presuppositionalism. Although most people judge arguments based on certain criteria, I am a critical skeptic of those criteria themselves. (3) And I write on theological issues as a student of the Protestant Reformation. When it comes to exploring and evaluating issues of the Christian faith, I stand firmly on the five solas of the great Reformers.

"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post
