Because, you know, on one hand, steak. OTOH bacon Confused

I find that the conditions in the meat industry are sometimes inhumane. But I don't have any data as to how common it is and whether there are any regulations in place. If it wasn't an issue, I don't see a reason not to eat meat in reasonable amounts.

I am not a vegan because it is impossible to actually have a balanced diet without some form of Animal protein (unless you cheat by taking supplements). And meat tastes too good! I does not have to be meat. I will be quite content with seafood as well.

I am vegetarian now and then: at least once a week. I like the flavor of vegetarian food. But i dont think I can take it everyday.

I'm an omnivore.

Meat is an important part of my diet.

I did once eat a vegetarian, but I don't think that counts...

Definite meat eater. Bacon wrapped anything is pure gold. I'm like Ron Swanson on Parks and Rec.

You know what's fun? The next time you get invited to a potluck or similar affair, bring two of the same dish, but tell people that one is vegan and one isn't. I did this with bacon and onion scones. I told the herbivores that the ones on this side had real bacon, so they should stick to the ones on that side, which had faux bacon, made with soy protein.

They both had real bacon. I'm a real shit, sometimes.

It makes a huge difference. How would you feel if someone started a pro-ana thread here?

Vegans spread lies and misinformation through the internet, and amass a huge cult-like following. Some even charge for health "coaching", even though they're unqualified to do so. Due to this misinformation many try it and find out how terrible it is first-hand. All the actual information they use is of poor quality, or no quality for making health recommendations. Like this:

That chart is completely meaningless. All it does is encourage Vegans to be dismissive to others when defending their dogma instead of considering all sides of the argument.

Just as an example, "canine teeth". Do a google search on "human teeth for meat" or similar, and you'll find plenty of Vegan articles like here, here, and here. So to claim otherwise is disingenuous. There is in fact so much misinformation from vegan sources out there it dwarfs the scientific literature which clearly says the opposite: that our teeth and jaws are clearly designed for eating meat.

Well, no. 2.5 million years of evolution separates us from our closest relatives, the chips, and they have much stronger jaws because they eat raw food as a staple. Chimps spend around 6 hours a day chewing their food, we humans spend about 1 hour on that task. But we are both omnivorous and our teeth proves that fact; and we've been omnivores for at least 2.5 million years. The difference between us and chips is they only derive around 5% of their daily energy from meat, and we learned to cook our meat and vegetables. If we hadn't done that then today we'd been much the same as chimps, we wouldn't be human at all.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

Oh for fucks sake, shut up. Proselytizing about what other people eat makes you annoying as bird shit on a freshly washed car.

When I look at the word "veganism", for the first half a second or whatever, I think it says "vagina".
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Why is the flesh of fish not considered meat? I've always wondered that.
