Women's clothes?

Get it out of my face. I don't want to see that."

Man who cannot appreciate the female body are Neanderthals.
That is a foolish thing to say. Who has a problem with admiring beauty?

Not me.

The problem is in the advertisement of the goods. Say your in the grocery store and see some food you like. You may justify not buying it for whatever reason. But then a couple aisles over there are free samples. Well you love that food and here it is right here for the taking. You gonna get some.

It may or may not boil down to seeking attention to some women. But what it boils down to for some men is that if one caries themself in a certain way, then indeed, they must be that way.

It isn't dressing like a whore that men have a problem with. The problem is that according to some women, it is false advertisement. That can lead to many negative things, least of which isn't forced rape or prison.

The female body has potential to be priceless artwork. I for one admire art generally at a distance. Some like a more hands on approach. Some women apparently like it too judging by their general demeanor these days.

So I guess if your promiscuous then dress accordingly, and if not dress accordingly. Or if you feel the need to fantasize about being a whore then don't get bent out a shape when someone wants to take you up on your insinuated offer.

The fact that you compared women to a grocery store kind of headshots the credibility of the rest of your post there, pops. The rest of the post just teabags the bloodied corpse.

The reasons i've been provided have been along the lines of "Trust me, this is how it is".

Think about it this way. Do you ever see gothic people walking around in strange, black clothing, some crazy colored hair, black lipstick, scary face make up with tons of white foundation and thick black eye liner? (think Marilyn Manson type look a likes) It was much more popular in the 90's but still happens sometimes.

Anyway... obviously, they stand out.

But are they dressing like that specifically to get starred at by other people? I'm sure some of them do. But I'm sure there are others who just dress like that because that is how they express themselves and it makes them feel interesting and edgy. In other words, they look like that because they like that style. Not because they want to be some sort of object of entertainment for others to gawk at.

It's the same concept with some women and sexy clothing. Sure, some dress like that to play head games and get starred at, but perhaps others dress like that because it's just their style and they like the way it makes them feel... no different from the goths in my above example. (and another point that was briefly brought up... maybe they are wearing short shorts and a tank top because it's hot out lol)

The wrong thing is to automatically assume the former and feel as though you are entitled to behave rudely by staring... whether someone is dressed in goth, sexy clothes, or any other type of outfit that stands out.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

You are not entitled to humiliate or harass anyone for dressing a certain way.
You are also not entitled to make a person behave a certain way.

If you harass me because I am wearing a tight t-shirt, I am entitled to think you're a pig. Behave how you want to behave, but don't expect to be congratulated for it.

I'm going to say this very slowly so maybe just maybe it sink into the male brain. My first thoughts when I put on clothing is not "I hope random asshole thinks I look good." I like ribbons because they're versatile. I like leather because sometimes I want to feel badass. I like laces and silks because somedays I feel like queen of the universe. I love my blue jeans on a paint day. And leggings when I'm exercising or just want comfort without feeling bummy. I care about my clothes. I care about my body. I like looking pretty for myself. Wanting to feel pretty or sexy has nothing to do with you. Let me repeat, wanting to feel pretty or sexy has nothing to do with you.

What your question should be is why judgemental of what women wear while not applying the same standard to men?
What!?

Men aren't really at risk of getting raped by a woman because his Ass cheek or ball is exposed.

Neither are most women.

But going by what you're saying it comes down to some men not being able to control themselves and women should dress to not tempt them.

And, holy shit, is my typing really that bad when I post from my phone?

As I stated a few pages back, I wear what I'm comfortable in and what the situation demands, not to attract the attention of men.

Now ask yourself WHY the various religions demand 'modesty' of women while not applting the same rule to men? Is it, perhaps, that those religions were created and run by "men"?
No, it's because women can't and won't generally attack a man because he is wearing what he thinks is comfortable. When was the last time you heard of a woman literally raping a man. It's kind of impossible

It's completely different when talking about "dressing sexy" and "dressing different".

For the simple fact that the term "Sexy" comes from what is defined as attractive by others, even if choosing what you personally find to be attractive it's all relative to what society has deemed it so. No one's going out in all black with makeup and stuff, goth and saying they are "Sexy" simply because they like the outfit. It relies entirely on other people, whereas in your comparison, being "goth" doesn't.

Would it make it okay for people to go around naked because that's simply how they want to express themselves?

Do people go to nudist beaches to express themselves? No, they go there to stray away from what they know is true of society; if you were to go nude in public it would get reactions, and lots of attention, and by doing so knowing that factor you are then seeking attention. That's why they have to go to a specific place, where the norm. is being nude, in order to feel as though they are normal. Therefore if a girl wears skimpy clothes in public, she should know she will get attention that's possibly unwanted, and by doing so is seeking attention because that is not the social norm. If it's so big of a deal to give yourself confidence then just do it in your own house, it defeats the purpose of "public" to say it's nothing to do with others.
