I'd have to convert you to Mormonism to 'square the circle' here.

And although I did some years ago almost convert someone to Mormonism, I suspect any efforts of mine here in that regard would be frowned upon by management.

Haha, I have no idea what you're saying, you crazy man. I know several Mormons. There are a lot of them in the Air Force so I meet them through my husband's job. They all seem like perfectly nice, decent people. That's all I care about when it comes to judgement of other people.

I apply the "to each his own" philosophy as well most of the time, unless I'm directly confronted at which point I will counter politely with my point.

My beef is that so many christoids I meet can often dish it but not take it and get pretty pissy.  

Not all, but most I've encountered.

Just don't ever ask them to give you their explanation of the trinity.

Or Jesus and Adam being the same person.

Or Adam being Jesus dad.

Or why all revisions of the Book of Mormon forbid polygamy.

Or why all the witnesses to the Book of Mormon were excommunicated, but are still considered to be witnesses.

Or why even though the Bible forbids men marrying mothers and daughters or sisters 'polygamitically', and the Mormons insist their take on polygamy is based on the Old Testament version, they can marry mothers and daughters and sisters, or could when it was Ok to do so even though at first it wasn't, then it was, then it still was even though they said it wasn't, and then it really wasn't OK.



You see what you'd be fronting for as a Mormon don't you ? Be glad you're only Catholic.

CL all you have to do is wear the magical underwear you get super powers and your own planet 
to reign down your anger and vengeance on or you know grow some plants and then watch 
simple life forms evolve into dinosaurs over time then throw rocks at the earth to get rid
of said dinosaurs and wait around longer for humans to evolve enough and then come down
and to a few people and tell them to worship you. After awhile get tired of those people you get them
killed by your new favorite people save them from slavery split a ocean as a favor for one of them.

About a month ago, two young LDS missionaries came to my house.

I feel sorry what they do to these kids during their pilgrimages....the rules are so weird.

They were very nice kids and I ended up giving them a bunch of fruit because they're only allowed to shop on certain days and were saying that they didn't have any fresh food to eat.

But some of the stuff they indoctrinate these kids to is just freaking nuts.

Yes, them getting pissy is stupid. 

May I ask, why do you refer to us as "Christoids" though? Is that supposed to be an offensive alternative to just calling us Christian?

Oh, there's no doubt that, individually, many are nice people.  Where it all falls down is the crazy of the beliefs themselves.
