Those things you call assertions were in fact true answers, the OP was't able to dispute what I stated.

God is the law. Jesus is God. Therefore Jesus is the law.

Jesus died for our sins. Our sins are transgressions against the law. Therefore, the law died for our transgressions against it.

Is this correct?

No, our sin is against God, God's revealed through the law, these is what I meant when I said God is the law.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Would you care to take another shot at the OP except maybe this time say what you mean?

What, you can't understand what I posted above.

I asked if God is above the law or not. You dismissed the question by saying that God is the law. Now you say that God is revealed through the law as if that is in any way relevant to the question.

I didn't dismiss the question, I gave you a factual answer," God's character is the law." I'm not talking about the law of Moses, I'm talking about the law given to all mankind. The law of Moses had special purposes for the Israelites, you'll need to research those for yourself I'm not getting into things no longer required for Christians. So now I'll say it again God's character (who He is) is the law and through that law we are able to see who God really is, I'm sorry you've missed this very important part of Christianity and the ability to grow in a relationship with God. Practicing a religion is what the Israelites did throughout scriptures and we see where that got them, God never intended them to be a people who only observed the laws given them to prove they were better than everyone else.
I've answered your question again in the way of the truth if you don't like what I say through my knowledge of scripture then I'm sorry. I want change my position to satisfy you, it's not my purpose in my walk with Christ.

OK let's say there's this undefined new law we are under. This law where I guess we follow our own conscience and deviation from that is sin. I guess. Well wouldn't the execution of a man's son for the man's sins be violation of that law as well? But God did that, so he is above this law as well. You keep dancing around the question because you don't want to put your feet firmly down in a defined position.

I'd rather debate the meaning of Lord of the Rings with a ladder-backed woodpecker. It would be a more interesting conversation.

That which can be asserted without support can be dismissed without support.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

You speak of me not firmly planting my feet and you are using an imagined law to go against the laws already given by God. I want step into that trap, why, because I deal with what is, you know reality. I've given firmly founded answers if they do not satisfy you then it's you with the problem.
