Just read in your old thread that your staying at the Shangri-La next to the Harbour bridge.

The lifts in the motel are a smooth ride. I should know, I was part of the crew that built them.

I was installing the lifts at that motel from when it was pretty much a hole in the ground to finish.

You'll love the view, especially if your room is facing the Harbour.

I actually had to look up what the Outback Steakhouse was.

I cant recall ever seeing this restaurant though apparently there are some in Sydney. Mainly we get onion rings from Burger King / Hungry Jacks.

That's interesting knowing you installed the elevators in the Shangri-La in Sydney.

My accommodations for Port Douglas have changed since my old post. I was staying in the Sheraton but have changed it to the One&Only Resort at Hayman Island.

Oh, almost forgot, Kusa. If you get invited to a posh do of some sort, Aussies will appreciate it if your don their national footwear:

But remember - these are for special occasions ONLY: Dinner with the Lord Mayor, charity do's, museum openings, that sort of thing.

Don't you laugh! Isn't there a union jack on the kiwi flag also!

Not really Kusa. I think he was helping you blend in when you take a nightly stroll down King's Cross.
