I read The God Delusion a few years ago and enjoyed it. We definitely agree on a lot, but he does seem a bit smug in interviews.

I wish I could be interested in reading about things that are actually real. They usually bore me to sleep. I do recommend The Kite Runner and The Testament of Gideon Mack if/when you have time for non fiction again

I am not a disciple of anyone.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
We're all disciples of mother nature.
