I just have an old Jitterbug, which is not a smartphone. So, I don't think I can have an insta account, but I do lurk.

I hate the 80s
Appropriate thread
80s "fashion". I don't know what happened that decade, what you all were snorting. The big hair, the glittery colours, the shoulder-pads, the mullets, ugh vile.
By far the very worst decade in history for "fashion". I can't even write "fashion" in the same sentence as "The 80s" without quotation marks because of how bad it was.
My Mom, who was late teens/early 20s in the 80s, naturally loves it. I see old photos of her when she had her perm and I cringe.

My pet peeve this week is people who uptalk - by speaking every sentence like it's a question even when it's not.

I do that. It annoys me. Isn't that a Canadian rise or something like that?
Also, when asked to explain something, starting with "So".

Also, most of the popular music sucked
I don't get it when people have 80s-style events and everyone dresses like the 80s and plays 80s music - like it's "fun". I told my daughter that I lived in the 80s, I don't need to re-live it for "fun"

I mean, to each his own. If it was someone else's event and they had an "80s theme" I'd force myself to get into the spirit of things, but I don't like it
The 90s though, much cooler. Now that's a decade I'd love to revive

You annoy yourself? lol
That might be another thread entirely
I'm not sure if uptalking is a Canadian rise. I have an obnoxious co-worker - not Canadian - who does it all day at the top of her lungs (when she's not burp-coughing).
