With the rise of his celebrity because of his show, he has made a habit of putting his name on anything that will turn a buck. Trump doesn't drink, but has a vodka with his name on it. He has ties and other merchandise branded with his name. I think there's an element of truth that this education scam is no different. All he would have to do is come clean and say it was simply a marketing arrangement and did not oversee the operation or quality of product. This isn't too far fetched. If this was the case he could easily make amends and be done.

I think it's foolish for Trump to prolong the shakedown.  He should offer a few bucks for a quick resolution.  He's not being charged with a crime that entails jail time so the State's case is weak.  Even so he could be out of more money if he fights the shakedown.  If he does it right he could probably get some of the people to endorse him for President.

Kim Jong-un joins Vladimir Putin in a list of foreign leaders endorsing Trump. Surely this says something...
