Control freaks always think that if they can make a rule to force people to change their behavior to their standards everything will be perfect.  Remember Moses and his laws.  Jesus added some more.  When the US was started it just had a few laws.  Today every conceivable act known to man has been, is, or will be, illegal somewhere in the US.  It's more screwed up than ever.  

We live in a complex society.  People can't do whatever they want to do whenever they want to do it without consequences.  So although it might be a natural behavior a functioning complex society simply can't tolerate people who kill their children.  The children are entitled to life although they are dependent upon their parents.  While we can't always save them we can avenge them.

First of all, let's calm it down with this IQ talk. Don't get ahead of yourself. You taking a simple statement and extrapolating all this private school and lobotomy hyperbole really belies this claim.

Second of all, you should look up this concept called nuance. The ability to recognize nuance is a classic mark of the aforementioned IQ that you prematurely boasted about.

Third, there is a major difference between throwing your money away to random strangers (your strawman) and a woman saying that part of taking her out is providing a babysitter for her kids, who will need to be watched if she is to leave the house. If $20 is too much for you, you can decline. I fail to see how that is holding anyone hostage or scamming anyone. Just like it isn't a scam for a woman to ask for this, likewise it isn't immoral for the suitor to decline to accept the terms. If you don't want to provide said childcare, then don't, and don't go out on a date with said woman. Easy peasy.

Maybe if we outlaw single motherhood then we could save more kids. I suppose we really can't stop all the single moms from killing when it comes so naturally to them. How do you propose we avenge the dead children of the single moms who succumb to their natural desire to kill?
