It sure is a thing It's a serious philosophical position.
My version of absurdism has only one commandment:
"Things are as real to any particular observer as they appear to be."
It's a conclusion I'd previously come to, but I wasn't aware it had a name. Everything else is built upon pragmatic assumptions after that.
But like, happy birthday, it's a philosophy burger for dinner
