Welcome
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Hi! Sounds pretty crazy, must get frustrating hearing that all the time. It's funny, because I've only ever visited New York, Vegas and briefly Arizona and Jersey, I've never really experienced this ridiculously Christian part of your great country!

I put too many e's in my state name.

Yeah, the big cities are just fetid cesspools of sinners. You have to come to flyover country to get to the promised land.

Hahah, yeah Sin City was a pretty good demonstration of this! And yeah, I'll be travelling the US next summer so I'm sure I'll get to experience the "promised land"  Big Grin Can't wait, I fucking love America!

I'm in Manchester. I've been down to Brighton a couple of times, combined it with horseracing at Goodwood.

Hello George!

I'm from Germany and my experience with my atheism here was entirely anticlimactic. My experience with my atheism during my time in the American south was more interesting.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 14, KJV revised edition
