All This shook me to the core. Again I never mentioned anything to my wife, but apparently she knows something is up as she has spent alot of time these past weeks lurking in the forum. this wasn't something I took lightly. i thought about it for a while and decided to commit to whatever it takes in hopes one of you would 'get it.'
Wait, what??
Did you tell us this in that thread and I missed it or is this the first time you say this on the forum?
Yes, after totally bashing Judi for allegedly playing "the victim card", this douchappotamus ... wait for it ... played the victim card.

If you don't think people should be mean to you/others, you don't get a pass to be mean just because someone's mean. Say I'm in a bar that prides itself on everyone being allowed to swear, but one day, a guy says the mother of all swear words. He says cunt. Sally at the bar doesn't like the word cunt, so she thinks he should be thrown out. She says "Throw the asshole out." If Sally's idea flies, then people who don't like the word asshole can have her thrown out and so on down the line. I don't think it needs that much explaining.

Drich, I know it's impossible for your tiny brain to grasp, but you're not the great teacher you think you are. You're always congratulating yourself for what you see as trying to get people to think out of the box, but in reality, you're just an arrogant simpleton that rarely, if ever, makes an actual point that makes sense. Most of your posts are nonsensical drivel that demonstrate you don't have a clue what you're talking about, and the only thing you're getting the members here to think is that you're a textbook example of the Dunning-Kruger effect.
So, it's time you drop this whole "I'm just trying to get you to think outside your own bubble" shtick, because you're fucking terrible at it. A complete failure. You couldn't open the mind of a twelve year-old. And quite frankly, I'm of the opinion that you're just using that as an excuse to verbally abuse people. So stop with this bullshit teacher business.
It's impossible for you to get people to think outside their bubble when you're unable to even recognize that you're trapped in your own.

Not sure what you're counting as bullying but I like occasionally to rip him a new one. Sometimes it just feels right to dish to him the lack of respect he so often hands out. Naturally it makes me feel dirty after so then I'll just go back to ignoring him. He certainly serves a function. Nice to know that when I've feeling angry and vile there is someone I can reach out and whip who so richly deserves it.

I swear this thread is like someone wiped the forum's dirty butt and left the soiled tissue on the floor for everyone to smell.

Just because I have verbal diarrhoea does NOT mean--
Wait... I just realized that that wasn't about me.
I knew that.
Carry on.

Yeah, I really wish we could move on. A decision was made. It is over and done. Peace only comes if we learn from this and realize that continual engagement with those we are offended by, just creates more hostility.

I know, right? He's the gift that keeps on giving when I'm in a bad mood.
But I'm not an asshole 24/7 and, every now and then, I actually resolve to play nicer with him.
Then he posts something.
That's usually all it takes for me to fall off the wagon. You'd think he'd learn that there are other Christians here who are treated well and are respected because of the way they handle themselves and perhaps adjust his approach accordingly. But no. He's too arrogant and full of himself for that. I suppose that goes with the territory when a person identifies so closely with Jesus and Paul.
Then again, he's under the illusion that his manner is thought-provoking, as opposed to annoying or infuriating. And apparently he's never wrong -- especially when his vaunted sources are going down in flames, his 'ideas' are exposed as garbage, and his dickish manner is being called out. He's never more right than at such times. Just ask him. Or A/S/K him. Or what-the-fuck-ever.
For all that, I'm glad he's here. I never called for his head and would hate to see him banned. He's too valuable to the atheist community to cut loose.
