Or ravioli that has been on high heat and boiled for like 4 hours (granted that was right after we got married like a decade + ago.) At that point i think they are call dumpl'ns.

Three days in Florida was enough for one lifetime, thanks.

Ahhh, I love Florida.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Also, while he may be disingenuous (how would I know?), I doubt he's completely a troll, if at all. Try to remember that some of the sentiments he spews are perfectly in line with the bible's teachings, if you take them literally. Moreover, I have met people who almost certainly weren't trolling me who share similar sentiments. When talking about Trump lately, an old Christian fart told me that by the way I talk (meaning swearing is something only men should do), he wouldn't blame men for grabbing my crotch to check that I don't have a dick. This is a guy who lives and dies by the idea that Jesus is life. Anyway, distasteful =/= troll. Even if his wife is a sock, he's not necessarily a troll.

Carry on.

In general:
It's the difference between getting your moral values from the crowd, and getting them from a static source.

Crowd based values will always change and by definition mine can't.

So obviously they will be different.

Does that mine better than others? it depends on whether or not the static source is valid.

Does that make others better than people like me? It depends on what the crowd feels like doing today.

It's not really that important. When push comes to shove deep down they know the truth even if they will never admit it openly.

It's not my narrative. It's yours. You can't say that you don't behave like this on this forum. You've even admitted to it and said something to the effect of how it's all part of your plan to make us see the light or whatever. I didn't mean to drag this into yet another Drich hate-fest. My intention was only to say that comparing your behavior to minimalist is ridiculous.

Also, I like having your wife around. It's helpful to remind me that there's a human being behind the curtain. I hope she stays. Would have rather had an all out trade, but this will do Big Grin
You guys ganging up on her and calling her trippy chased her off last time... Probably should stay away from that if you want her to stay.

She does not like meanness or conflict. which I know is the only reason people come here. In the end she is her own person and I have no say in whether she stays or goes.. So if you want her to stay play nice.

While I don't agree with your views on all this, I can see how they got blown out of proportion and misrepresented.

And I do think you need to be more sensitive/connecting with how you communicate your views, but I've said that like a million times already lol.
yes yes mom, I'm too mean. I should make fun of the slower kids...

I was trump, before Trump was cool/President

Again If you want to truly see the hand of God in your life, you need to be taken well past the limit of human intervention. This could be AIDS, Cancer, Kidnapped, Stranded, Stroke Heart Attack Plane Crash Something where Nothing Humanity can offer you will save you from your fate. You need to be made aware and feel then resign yourself to this fate. Meaning you know there is nothing humanly possible to be done....

Then Ask God.

When you are pulled from the ashes of what was your hopless life and know without question or doubt that you were beyond human intervention, and was healed/saved almost upon the asking... Yes then you see God.

This is a gift. A hard fought gift, but it a gift such as this transforms mere faith to unbreakable belief.

Sorry, sounds like fox hole prayer/belief. Fear based. Bargaining.

And when your/their ass isn't pulled from the fire, then what? No god?

No thanks. I don't fear death that much.
No if they die they do not need faith or belief.. they get the proof they sought. Some people are so hard hearted, they  have to have absolute indisputable proof. Kneeling before God... What better proof is there? Some people's demand for proof exceed their need to be right before God. Mine did not (thankfully)

And.. who said anything about fearing death?

This wasn't a bargain, this was a lord if your there looks like i will be there with you. If I am doing stuff to piss you off let me know before it is too late kind of thing.

Meh. I'm not likely to be convinced that if any of the popular members here said similar shit that Drich says, but said it about undesirables, anyone (apart from maybe CL) would bat an eye. The problem people have with Drich is that he says it directly to members of the forum who are popular. Well, that and he says a lot of shit that doesn't make any sense. Any one of us could (and lots likely have) say any old fucked up thing to Drich and it would be business as usual. Drich could say, "Fuck a goat, you stupid slut." to one of our female members and the white knights would rain down from the proverbial heavens. I could say, "Drich, I hope a goat rapes you in the bum." and you'd be lying if you said you would decry my behavior in anywhere near a similar way. Why? Because you don't like Drich. It's a bias. It can be completely natural or even morally correct, but it's still a bias. To deny it just plain silly.

I've been here since June, and I can say, with not a speck of doubt, the weather is not fantastic. I can't wait to go home to SD, where the weather truly is as close to perfect as possible.
