And TOS Star Trek of course.
Used to stay up to some ungodly hour with my sisters  to watch them religiously.

Seriously, the TOS Star Trek - even over TNG, DS9 and Voyager?  Kinky.

Ultimately. Yes.
Only because of my age at the time....
Like the original A New Hope.
Nothing can beat that experience....
You gotta take it in it's time.

In retrospect, Voyager is my favourite.

Forgot about Bab 5.

Well, up til the movie "Legend of the Rangers".

That movies sucked more than a $2 hooker.

My primary fangirl obsession is definitely Dragonlance.  I've maintained a website, written fan fiction, done some art, and designed DL-themed costumes for a local SF/F convention.  Not nearly as active as I used to be, but once in a while I hang out with a DL group on Reddit.

Other things that caught my fancy over the years, and still do command my attention whenever they pop up:
  • The Beatles
  • Batman (had a pretty good comic collection in the early '70s, and still love to watch the Adam West/Burt Ward silliness)
  • Dragons in general -- I have paintings and prints and sculptures all over the house.
  • Monty Python
  • Ghostbusters
  • Max Headroom
  • The Tick (both animated and live-action; keep meaning to get some of the comics, too)
  • Danger Mouse
Things I used to like a lot, but not so much nowadays:
  • Star Trek:  TOS
  • Dr. Who (just not much of a TV watcher any more, but the new series production values are fantastic compared to the old series)
  • The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
  • Starcraft
  • Drag racing -- had a poster of Don Garlits up on my wall when I was a teenager
  • Silver Surfer
  • Genesis -- at least until Steve Hackett left. Sad
  • The Guess Who -- I had the most mind-bogglingly obscure albums in my collection, and still have 100+ songs filed away in my head.

DragonLance?

It was good up until the last book where they just decided to kill everyone off.

Still check out Larry Elmore's art periodically.

I used to be a huge Dragonlance fan. Raistlin is still one of the best characters I’ve ever read about. Time of the Twins trilogy was my favorite, but I liked almost all of it. I used to do fan art, too! It was so long ago, though. Can you share some of yours? I’d love to see it!

Killing off characters is an old DL tradition going all the way back to Chronicles.  The War of Souls trilogy was just finishing the job.   Big Grin

My daughter and a former boyfriend conspired to get me a signed print of Elmore's painting Companions of the Lance. You should have heard the *squee* I emitted when I unwrapped it.

I've got it on my home computer and will post a link when it's been copied to a more accessible spot.

As for Raistlin -- our respective stories have rather terrifying parallels and I've always felt close to him.
