Hitting things with sticks has a much less enjoyable range of noise than drummers seem to think. They are not enough of a versatile instrument to take that length of focus. Please no one try to post something to try and change my mind. I have been to a Rush concert and even their drummer bored me to tears and I can't imagine anyone being able to improve on him.
