Which Do You Hear

I also posted this in the Off Topic thread as well. Which do you hear. Yanny or Laurel? Who hear's Yanny and who hear's Laurel? So what's going on?

Nothing is going on. Those words sound absolutely nothing like each other. It's obviously Laurel. Those words sound completely different.
This is why it's always Laurel and Hardy and never Yanny and Hardy.

I hear Repetition.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Is this an auditory illusion, analogous to an optical illusion?

I think it has more to do with what pitches your ears are attuned. Is is similar to the way people experience yellow differently based on the proportion of red to green cones on an individual's retina.
