Everyone has their limit. No shame in that.

Yeah, but I can no longer do nice things for forum people. When they call me a cunt, it upsets my husband.

I can always use a pejorative term in reference to him, if it would make you feel better.

It sucks when someone has the same problems over and over again with lots of people and refuses to acknowledge that maybe, just maybe, it could be something they’re doing.

Thanks, I’ll let you know if I need a boost.

I mean, because I know you guys were waiting with bated breath for my opinion on the latest AF drama. 😛
It definitely wasn’t my fault before that point. It was a culmination of repeated annoyances over the course of several weeks that became intolerable. I seem to be only one of several people who had reached their tolerance limit. However, I do admit that my approach was deliberately rude. I hadn’t seen what has been going on the past few weeks, so I admit I didn’t have the full context in mind when reading through that thread. Regardless, he knows better. Hammy is my friend, and I know for a fact that he has significantly more emotional intelligence than he sometimes leads others to believe.

Yes, we’ve been friendly for years. What you mentioned is the exact cause of my recent frustration, that and the self-centered stream of consciousness diatribes. He thinks I’m mad that he doesn’t take my advice. I’m mad that he refuses to try to better himself ever because it’s always someone else’s fault or he’s too special a case for anything anyone suggests to help him or so he thinks.

I never fully believed he was as far on the spectrum as he was claiming. He was simply trying too hard on presenting it.

He is sensitive to provocation and criticism. So I steer clear of doing that.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I don’t know what to believe. His behavior and how he says he feels, thinks, behaves are so far out of sync sometimes.
