Preputioplasty or circumsicion?

Preputioplasty or circumsicion?
I have to decide between a preputioplasty and a circumsicion.

I am leaning towards the preputioplasty because I would like to keep my foreskin, but the doctor said some scars would be left. I have searched all over the internet for pictures, but failed so far.

I was wondering if any men here have had a preputioplasty, and how was the experience. Also, for those who have had a circumsicion, would you have prefered a preputioplasty?

Thank you.

My father had a late lice circumcision. As I understand it preputioplasty is just a widening of the opening of the foreskin almost halving it's length. Seems like whichever has the fastest healing time is what I would recommend, but I'm not a doctor.
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

Gee, I feel for your dad.

Yes, can be partial, but a traditional bris removes the whole foreskin.

I understand I was about 4 days old when I had mine, which was the whole thing.. At that time it was common in Australian maternity wards to routinely circumcise baby boys. Mum told me she was simply TOLD by a nurse' "Today we're going to circumcise baby"' Apparently I was livid, and it bloody hurt (no anaesthetic) Screamed the place down.

I saw recently that the US has the most non religious circumcisions in the world . No, I won't get into  a discussion about which is better. or alleged health benefits..

It exposes the head of the penis during copulation.

I don't own a penis, so I probably have no business replying, but I will anyway. A preputioplasty is much less dramatic than a complete circumcision. You can always get the full circumcision later, but you can't un-ring that bell if you do it now. You have a foreskin for a reason (and a good one), and you might experience some big changes to your sexual response. It's your penis and your decision, but in no way would I have a circumcision done unless it was medically necessary.
If The Flintstones have taught us anything, it's that pelicans can be used to mix cement.

I like my penis the way it is, slightly bent to the right. Mom taught me (awkward) to pull the foreskin back and clean it properly. No blades near that, exceptions made for teeth.

For those of you who haven't thought about this before: I have a full foreskin, but when erect it is pulled back completely. (Some ladies never knew I wasn't "snipped".) The sensitivity difference between "sheathed" and "unsheathed" was noticeable to me.

The worst mistake I made in my life was the one time I let the little head do the thinking instead of the big head.
