Help me identify a Christian saint

Help me identify a Christian saint
Can someone help me identify a Christian saint? I can't remember his name but I remember he was a psychotic masochist.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Gonna need more to go on than that, mate.  If you hadn't specified 'he', I would have guessed St. Margaret Mary, who carved AND burned Jesus' name into her chest.

But a lot of saints were masochistic to a greater or lesser degree.  Can you recall anything else about the saint you had in mind?

Do you find him/her here?: http://www.religious-vocation.com/penanc...IUPNyhKjs0

I thought I learned about some really sick beliefs when I was a Catholic student, but that website really takes the cake. Thank God I'm an atheist!

Please, can someone tell me the name of this Christian saint? Or is it maybe an apostle?

Is that his trident or is he just glad to see her?

I've googled "Christian saint with trident" and "Christian saint with prominent nipples".

Nothing for the former and Christian of Clogher for the latter.

What the fuck is wrong with people!
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

But he has a halo around his head! Don't only saints have halos around their heads because it's like holy ghost or something around them?

But I guess you're right. This guy seems to enjoy company of nude women while Christian saints were masochists who punished themselves for being humans, like St. Jerome who, whenever he felt an urge for sexual recreation, rolled on thorns and allowed insects to bite him. Or St. John of Lycopolis who boasted that he had not seen a woman in forty-eight years, but, on the other hand, he was fond of sheep.

So this guy in the picture looks too normal to be a Christian saint.
