Can you explain in detail what biological mechanism or mechanisms are responsible for interfering and preventing small changes from leading to large changes over long periods of time? What facts of biology make “macro evolution” not possible?

While we’re at it, I find it quite funny that the same person who is objecting to the use of the term “scientific fact” seems to also be implying that it is a fact of biology that macro evolution can’t happen. 😏

I've neither argued that macroevolution can't happen, nor would I use the word fact if I did. Maybe I do believe in macroevolution, maybe I don't, but until I make a claim about it what's the point in speculating?

And, what’s the point of having a frank discussion with someone about a particular subject when that person won’t be forthcoming about their position on that subject? Do you believe god created life on earth, John? Do you believe that “macro evolution” is possible? If you’re confident in your position on something then you should have no reason to keep it secret, right?
