What do you know today that you didn't know yesterday?
RE: What Do You Know Today That You Didn't Know Yesterday?
Not exactly yesterday but I find it astonishing that I was able to purchase a new car in our adopted country on a credit card without anyone saying boo or raising a fraud alert.

I saw a video on YouTube yesterday which claimed that Deanna Troi from Star Trek: The Next Generation was originally supposed to have four breasts. That sounds rather far-fetched, but I have no idea if it's true or not.  Huh

There's got to be a joke in there somewhere, but I can't find it. Naughty

But let's milk the subject a bit and see if we can come up with one.

I'm reminded of an old sci-fi story where a dad is warning his earthling daughter about dating a Martian (yes, it's that old and dusty!) because though she can try to keep the guy off her, Martians have four arms and will be able to get to her breasts, anyway. Something about being forewarned not being equivalent to four-armed. It's also been a dog's age since I read the story, so it's lost a bit of cachet in the interim.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

You can make home made soft pretzels with a bread machine pizza dough recipe. The only change is an additional quick NaHCO3 simmer.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

This has gotten right up there where, "You can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish sandwich" territory.

The video I mentioned earlier was correct. Gene Roddenberry originally conceptualized the character Deanna Troi as having four breasts, but his wife thought it was a bad idea and talked him out of it.
