I saw that on the news this morning. She really has held her looks longer than most people do. I actually like her current look/hairdo in this recent video than the 1978 Playboy cover. But regardless of the hair, I still don't see much difference otherwise. Dolly really hit the gene lottery.

She was a good looking young woman but it's not just genetics that has her looking like she does. She should thank her genetics and her plastic surgeons along the way.

She is also known for saying - I'm paraphrasing - when asked if it bothered her when people called her a dumb blonde, her response was that it doesn't bother her because she knows she isn't dumb and she also knows she isn't blonde.

I saw her many times on the Porter Wagoner show when I was a kid.  For me, she didn't have the appeal of Bobbie Gentry or, to change venues, Michelle Phillips.  But I always liked her.  She comes off as a really good person.  And she shows that again in this video.  What a nice thing to do for her fans.

What? I think the intent of her recent video was to tell her husband she loves him. Not sure that was so much about her fans. But to be fair, certainly easy on the eyes.

She makes no bones at all about the cosmetic surgery. On more than one occasion, she’s said, ‘It take a lot of money to look this cheap.’
