I’ve got one. It was discovered when I was 17.

Iggy's going to have one, too.
Strangely, it will be through his noggin.

King Tut is the only mummy from ancient Egypt known to have been mummified with an erection. His penis subsequently broke off soon after the mummy was discovered.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Today I learned about an alternative to cremation called ‘aquamation’ (technically ‘alkaline hydrolysis’), in which the body is placed in an airtight chamber which is then filled with an alkaline solution. The chamber is then heated and the solution dissolves the soft tissues. The resulting mess is then dried and the bones and teeth pulverized.
The process uses 90% less energy than traditional cremation and emits no greenhouse gases.

That's quite interesting. I'll check into that. I wanted cremation, but at 10% of the energy use of flames, it's a no-brainer. Or, I could do it for free in the back yard, with a lime pit.

I only learned it by reading an article about Desmond Tutu’s funeral - that’s what he had done.

Since 1950, there have been 32 US nuclear weapon accidents, known as "Broken Arrows". As many as six have been lost and unaccounted for. The former USSR has lost 41 with an unknown amount of them recovered.
