Covid 19 conspiracies dump

If you're going to catch a variant, this is the one you want. I mean, we're probably all going to catch covid eventually anyways, so I consider us lucky to have caught an extremely benign variant. I got the vaccine, but definitely don't need to worry about getting any booster shots now, ever (not that I was going to take the booster anyways), and I've talked my mother out of getting the booster shot. Not worth the risk.

My symptoms are pretty mild. Common cold symptoms with diarrhea, dizziness, and slight nausea. My dad had it pretty bad for a day or two throwing up and feeling pretty crappy, but it's not so bad now, and now we're going to have gained natural immunity, so hooray!

You should probably promote covid parties. Great

Hell, I’m fairly certain they did so within a month of it being declared a pandemic. I’m not sure if it’s because using the government to actually help people (at least people who aren’t obscenely rich) is just that anathema to them or if it’s because they realized that minorities and poor people would be disproportionately affected by it and decided it was time to clean out the barn (Those exact words were used by Jacob Wohl [or Jack Burkman, I forget which] to justify falsely accusing Anthony Fauci of rape when the “accuser” called them and pointed out that this didn’t seem like a good idea), but when Trump decided that it would be a good idea to call for Churches to be packed in Easter 2020, it looks like they decided this would be their strategy.

Funnily enough, there's a good chance I got it from going to church recently. Everyone shakes hands and hugs eachother like the pandemic never happened. I get that some people are afraid of handshakes, but handshakes are important and we definitely can not do away with handshakes. Whether I know the other person is vaccinated or not, I'm not turning down a hand shake. How rude would that be? Can't live in fear for the rest of our lives. We need some normalcy back.

Yes, we do, but your method of ignoring precautions against transmission (especially as new cases are reaching record heights; there's been 2 1/2 million new cases a day recorded for four straight days) will do nothing but lead to more sickness, and that's been shown to be the case time and time again for the past year and a half. Omicron might be milder than the other variants, but that doesn't mean it's harmless, especially for those not up to date on their vaccinations.

Thereby inconveniencing themselves when they actually get sick themselves. And not even from COVID. Case in point: A few months ago, a man in Alabama had a heart attack and was turned down by 42 hospitals in three states before a hospital in Meridian, Mississippi (four hours away, mind you) gave him a bed to die in. And this happened because Alabama, Mississippi, and the third state that I couldn't find were so full of people who were so convinced that they needed to get back to normalcy without taking ANY of the necessary precautions that their ICUs were filled to the brim with COVID cases.
