It’s better to shoot for the moon, miss and hit an eagle, than to shoot for an eagle, miss and hit a rock.

Nah,  you are not very arrogant.   Intelligence is 99% self delusion and only 1% arrogance.

What if you shoot for the moon and miss the rock?

Finally got around to reading the novelisation of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. It turns out Cliff really did kill his wife. Admittedly, he did regret it almost immediately, but at least we got an answer to that question.

It is estimated that the first life on earth survived asteroid impacts to earth between 3.8 and 4.4 billion years that were up to one million times more energetic than the chixalube impact which killed the dinosaurs 64 million years ago.

to put that kind of impact in perspective, it is estimated the fireball from such an impact briefly made the earth the brightest object in the solar system, outshining the sun by an order of magnitude and made the earth visible to the naked eye from a hundred light years away.

Viagra can keep freshly cut flowers looking great for up to a week longer than their usual life span.

I guess that 'call a doctor if effects last longer than four hours' doesn't count with flowers.

Correct. You should call a florist.

If you put one of every species of animal (living and extinct) into a bag and randomly drew one out, you'd have a 1 in 5 chance of picking a beetle.
