What do you know today that you didn't know yesterday?

While Segal vehemently denies the incident ever took place, several people (including his own bodyguard) have confirmed it.

It’s stories like this that make life worth living.

yeah, but it’s not instances of steven segal bragging and then soiling himself is hard to find.

Yup. The general consensus in the martial arts community seems to be that Segal gives martial artists a bad name.

Segal is, and has been, one of my least favorite actors.

He’s not an actor. He’s a movie star.

I almost said that but hesitated to call him a star...of course, calling him and actor is also a stretch.

When I saw two of his movies for the Deep Hurting Project, I realized how little he actually even does in his movies. In fact, in one movie, he even had a double for a scene where he walked down a flight of stairs. The double’s name is Chris Romrell, and at least he’s finding more challenging work, like being Chris Pratt’s stunt double.

FWIW, I’ve heard the thing about Steven Segal challenging actors to a match and losing about multiple actors. Even John Leguizamo. I don’t know who it actually happened to, but Segal is such a jackass he makes it so easy to create legends like this.

Never said he was an A-lister. If you’re billed first, you’re the star of the movie, even if it’s one of those execrable direct-to-video nightmares that Segal is known for.

There used to be a walnut tree that grew from the ruins of Nero's grave which the locals claimed was full of demons who were beating up passing pedestrians. So the pope Pope Paschal II led a great crowd to the base of the infernal walnut, exorcised the tree, and sank an ax into its roots—whereupon a great crowd of demons took flight from its branches. And the church Santa Maria del Popolo was built in its place.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

When ordering from my favorite deli, if I order a sandwich and a side salad the extra price for the salad is $2.89. If I order a different side with no extra charge and then order a kids meal of a salad, I get the same sized salad, plus a choice of side dishes, and a chocolate chip cookie for $2.99.

Anywho - the club wrap was very good and now I have two small bags of chips and a cookie for later.
