‘My thesis. It’s a monument to my wrongness.’

A lot of science works that way, but I am quite sure theses do not. In a thesis, you should only state what you think you have discovered, not what you were wrong (or are not sure) about.
Negative results are still results.

It's all part of describing your research. "If place names suggest that war crimes in living memory didn't happen, I would expect to find x y and z. I did not find x, y, or z...but I did find a mass grave, material witnesses, perpetrators, trial proceedings, and a monument to the event."
-back to the drawing board. Honestly, though, they're still picking unexploded ordinance out of the ground - you're never going to find evidence that supports those beliefs, not even in the weakest sense, where you find a lack of evidence to attest to the fact ........but........ linguistics has to be the single most hilarious place to look for it...or see it. As your comments about Stalin made so amusingly clear.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. For instance, Joseph Stalin's real family name was Jughashvili. 'Stalin' was a pseudonym he gave himself, and it translates to 'man of steel' (more or less). Stalin went on to rule with an iron fist. Steel is an alloy of iron. Does this mean Stalin was a mythological figure?

Of course. Human beings cannot be that evil as Stalin is claimed to be.
Yes, they can.

And can they be as evil as Hitler is claimed to be?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Boru Yes, but I do not think they are good for a thesis, unless maybe if you have disproven some widely accepted hypothesis (not one you came up with).

Mate, you literally learned what a thesis is four days ago. Maybe you should study up before declaring what is or is not a good basis for one.

Don't you think my guesses about what happened during Vukovar Massacre and my guess that *karr~kurr meant " to flow" in Illyrian are fundamentally different kinds of guesses? For the latter, I can put a p-value on it: it is somewhere between 1/300 and 1/17. For the former, I have no idea how to estimate the p-value to it.

What makes you think that she thinks my hypothesis about *k(a/u)rr meaning "to flow" in Illyrian is fundamentally the same kind as my hypotheses about Vukovar Massacre?

Really lad, you should go and get yourself a job, preferrably one involving at least some interaction with real people. The energy spent will take your mind off of bullshit like this.
