Rev said I should be locked up for having an opinion. Not for being unvaxxed. My entire family is vaxxed and I've not been running around infecting people. And you can't call me self centered because I'm advocating for people who made a different choice than me when they didn't get vaccinated. Me advocating on their behalf is the opposite of self centered.

The reason isn’t because you have a different opinion. The reason is because that opinion involves running defense for people who think it’s a good idea, nay, their right as human beings, to go around infecting people.  That’s the red line. And if that isn’t enough, then comparing the decision to vaccinate to bashing someone’s skull in definitely is. Once you couch the decision in those terms, I pretty much stop giving a shit what you have to think. 

Even if you’re just echoing the concerns of people who think like that, there’s really only one valid response to anyone who couches the decision to vaccinate in those terms:

That second Shingles shot kicked my ass though.  Glad they only call for two at this time but if I have to get another at some time in the future...I'll do it.  I won't like it, but I'll do it.

When I got that shingles shot (I think it was the first one, though) I got the Prevnar13 in the other shoulder. Both arms hurt! I won't be doing that again.

When I got the first one I also got the flu shot, so I wasn't sure which one made me feel bad.  But the second Shingles shot was awful and the pharmacy staff told me they heard that a lot.  It was 10X worse than when I got the two at once.

Probably the flu vaccine. I’m one of those people who always ends up getting the flu shortly after getting the flu vaccine, and the main two COVID jabs gave me nothing. The booster gave me body aches and pains, plus an apparent fever and chill (my temperature stayed at 98 the whole time though), and that was over within a day.

I'm the same. The two times I've gotten the flu shot, I got the flu that winter.

I have a relatively good immune system. I get sick about once every two years, and when I get sick it can last between one-two months.

Kids who have lice aren't allowed to stay in school to spread the lice around until everyone else has it too.

Since the Covid vaccine is considered a protection, which is better than not being vaccinated, then it stands to reason that the students should be vaccinated to prevent a more deadly spread.
