Good thing is that she went dressed as a skeleton so that even though she can not wash off her paint she looks somewhat cool, but imagine if she went with a drawing of a giant asshole across her face which she can't remove. That would be even worse.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Pregnant Arkansas woman and baby found dead; DOJ says suspect wanted to claim baby as her own

Pineville Couple Charged in Kidnapping, Murder of Pregnant Arkansas Woman

The federal criminal complaint alleges that, between Oct. 31 and Nov. 2, 2022, Amber Waterman kidnapped Ashley Bush, who was approximately 31 weeks pregnant, in order to claim her unborn child as her own. She allegedly transported Ashley Bush from Maysville, Arkansas, to Pineville, resulting in her death.

They had originally met “Lucy” at the Gravette, Ark., public library a few days earlier, at which time “Lucy” was driving the same pickup truck. During this meeting at the library, “Lucy” and Ashley Bush had discussed employment opportunities, and later that day, “Lucy” offered to drive her to meet her supervisor at a Bentonville, Ark., company.

On Oct. 31, Ashley Bush’s fiancé drove her to meet “Lucy” at a Handi-Stop convenience store in Maysville, Ark. He later received a message to pick her up at the same Handi-Stop store, but while he was waiting for her to arrive, he saw “Lucy” and Ashley Bush drive past without stopping. He attempted to contact Ashley Bush by phone, but his calls went to voice mail. He later found her phone on the side of the highway.

But I wouldn't say that the sculpture is realistic because if you look at the shroud you see a person with elongated body parts as if he had Marfan syndrome.

Three different labs C14 dated the Shroud to the 14th Century, which, not coincidentally, was when reports of the existence of the Shroud began to emerge.  So it's a groovy religious painting, but not a relic.

"Yay! Father Stu is returning to cinemas" - said no one, but it is coming back.

Quote:"Let's just say I put millions and millions of dollars into the film — and I expect millions and millions of dollars to get back," said Wahlberg, adding that a few friends who "believed in the project" also invested in it.

Wahlberg explained that costar Gibson's 2004 movie The Passion of the Christ "inspired" him to fund his own faith-based movie: "I was really impressed with the quality of the film and him taking a chance and financing the film himself. That was something I always appreciated. It's his love letter to his accountant as well as to his faith in God, and it inspired me to do this.

It's on one of the streaming services. No interest in seeing it.
