Had an issue with one of my effects pedals: the battery snap had a strange issue where the big hexagonal post wouldn’t latch onto the complementary pole of the battery. Turns out that fixing it was as easy as just crimping the sides a few times with a needle nosed plier.

I’m hoping to find a good power supply that’s cheap and can actually power it and doesn’t shit the bed the second you put a delay pedal in it. The closest I’ve been able to get is a wall wart with a daisy chain. I use that one on the three pedals that sit on the speaker cab.

The two that stuck out to me:
1) Apparently, when Europeans colonized the Americas, their new diseases would often spread faster than they did.
2) A few episodes ago, they reported that, somehow, all the available studies on breast enlargement hypnosis supported that there was evidence for its efficacy. What they didn’t explain is that there’s a very mundane explanation for it: breast size tends to fluctuate with hormonal cycles.
