Psalm 137:9
#71
RE: Psalm 137:9
Oh and I forgot.
5. Prophesy
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

1. God's laws
2. God's spoken words.
3. Stories of events that happened at the time
4. Thoughts of the prophets.
David prayed for this but it doesn't make it right. Nor does it effect 1 or 2.

Listen you god damn fucktard!! Just because you say something doesn't change or effect something else, doesn't make it true! I don't give a fuck how many times you ignore or deny that the sky is blue, it's STILL FUCKING BLUE!!

I'm sick of you douch-nozzle christians simply saying "NUH-UH" to valid points and making rebuttals that don't follow any kind of known logic. If you're going to make responses and arguments from horse shit arguments that have NO validity anywhere on the planet than I don't have to make an effort to be nice or remotely respectful.

If it's gods mother fucking word, and it's all inspired of god than David is blameless and your god needs to pay more fucking attention to the words that HE'S inspiring!

JESUS TAP-DANCING CHRIST!!! Get your mouth off his johnson, pull up your pants and THINK for christ's sake!

Inspired does not mean written by. It is inspired by God and written by men which means that it has opinions of men written in there and imperfect actions done by men. This does not prove inconsistancy or anything. It proves men have their own thoughts that don't have to be in line with God. Don't blame me for your misunderstanding.

You think I don't understand the difference between the words inspired and written by??? So now you're saying that although god inspired the bible, there's a lot of parts that we should ignore because he was inspiring people who decided to write it the way they want to. You best be careful, jesus isn't going to let you keep sucking his dick if you keep saying shit like that.

You know how many christians would denounce you for saying shit like that.

Try as much as you want .... you cannot rationalize any of this away. Just keep gargling the god sauce and lubing up because brainwashed idiots like yourself are never going to sell the stupidity here.

No I'm not saying we should ignore anything. I'm saying that we should look at the context to see who's saying what and why. You know, you say you are making good points but all of them have been previously brought up on this thread and I'm answering them almost word for word how I already answered them.

I've read your bull shit responses to the various members frequenting this thread. You have answered nothing.

You have offered nothing by way of logic, reason or common sense. You have offered jibberish throughout this entire thread ... clumsily dancing around the definitions of words and accusing people of "not understanding" something when it is you who does not adhere to any sense of rationale. Contradicting yourself and then denying that there is any contradiction when it is presented boldly in your face.

You are the reason your disease of a religion will die off someday .... and not soon enough.

If you can't see the logic in my words your closed mind is just filtering it out. I catagorised it and labeled it with numbers. I put it as basic as possible and all you heard in your mind was "bulshit lalalalala I can't hear you." the only thing I can think to do to make it easier is to color coat it. And you think this is frustrating, I find it frustrating that Minimalist probably won't acknowledge my point about tyre. I proved him 100% wrong and I won't get any credit because atheists can't be humble enough to admit defeat.

What you're saying is that the bible is the perfect word of god, but that god doesn't necessarily approve of everything that's written in it.

Confusing yu think??
If EVERY word is inspired by god than why would he not approve of some of the actions that HE says are "blessed"?

ANSWER: You can't rationalize any of it. It's goat-herder idiocy. It's greasy sophistry and mind-bending verbal gymnastics. How can you possibly be so painfully stupid and utterly brainwashed?!?

You all absolutely refuse to open your eyes to what is directly in front of you.

No, it's not confusing, it's you who can not understand what scriptures say, you have forsaken God and He has closed the scriptures to you. Now to answer the question that popped into your mind, how can I possibly know God's closed scriptures to you, simple, you no longer have any idea what the scriptures mean in part or whole. You have become ignorant to the Grace of God, it's truly a pity.
The over all message is what is important in this Psalm, as I explained the Psalm is about the grief and despair that the Jewish people were filling because they had disobeyed God. God approves of this psalm because of the message that it portray of sorrow in disobedience, yes He inspired the psalmist to write this psalm, it does not mean that He approves of the psalmist hatred. God is showing us that punishment for disobedience can produce other sinful thoughts or actions, to make us aware of what happens if we are not repentant of our disobedience.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Wow, when you explain it like that (god inspired it, but didn't write it) it makes so much more sense to me. I need to get my heart right with your god. Clearly you have the superior intellect and what it takes to understand not only the mind of god but even what he was thinking 2000 years ago. Since none of what you just said is actually IN the scriptures you might need to consider that you yourself might just be a prophet.

I'm going to dub this argument you and chipan have been using the: Fire the Inspired Argument

Your god inspires people who somehow manage to write something that you yourself say god does not approve of. Then, when questioned, you simply fall back on the classic - "nuh uh, you just don't have the heart to understand" and the "there's no contradiction because I say so" arguments. This of course only aggravates anyone who has the understanding of a grade-schooler (as that is all the education needed to see the flaw in your "logic"), and in all actuality still leaves you holding the bag and your god with egg on his face. Truly he should have easily seen all this coming or at the very least FIRED the idiots he was inspiring before they got the chance to fuck up his holy word.

Regardless, both you and Chipan are liars who don't deserve the slightest bit of courtesy on this site for repeatedly using the "you just don't understand" argument.
You interpret your bible however you please. It says what it says and what it DOESN'T say is all the bull shit you just said. Just because you've got your god's dick up your ass doesn't mean that you are any kind of authority on what the authors of the Bible ACTUALLY meant.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. You and the brothers in christ are silly stupid sheep who need to go play in their own primitive pen.
