Just under 100 years ago women in our country women were severely beaten, imprisoned for weeks, tortured, given unclean water to drink and nasty food infested with worms, all for protesting the simple right to vote.

Also, any woman(or man for that matter) should realize that a vote for Santorum is a vote to return to this era where women were nothing more than a man's property.

The other 3 GOP shits are no bargain either.

In my country, thankfully, there were no such things. Our women did not have to fight for their right to vote, they were granted their right to vote before they even asked for it.

Especially note the fucking thing they did in Georgia. If a baby dies within the womb, a woman isn't allowed to have an abortion. Her body must abort it naturally. This sounds very primitive (and dangerously unhealthy).

That's just plain stupid. Sometimes a woman's body doesn't abort a dead fetus naturally. And if it's already dead, what's the harm in removing it?

I really think that we need to tell Congress and all state legislatures that they are not allowed to pass any laws restricting what kind of medical procedures anyone can have, or else they'll be prescribed mandatory 24-hour enemas.

I assume those idiots will allow abortion for ectopic pregnancies but sometimes I wonder if lawmakers could get this foolish. I remember in college someone complaining about aborting ectopic pregnancies. They didn't think it was good enough reason to abort a fetus. I wanted to throttle them but I was able to explain to them that the baby could not possibly survive in the fallopian tube. To which they argued with me on that point. They had little concern for the mother, it was all about the baby.

Yes I know that this is an extreme example (as well as anecdotal evidence) but it bothers me when extreme people like this get elected.

It does, though, totally piss me off after learning in school about all the rough and poor treatment that the suffragettes received to see some dumbass on the internet claim that women shouldn't have the right to vote. Even worse to see female conservatives say this.
