I stopped to check this thread and saw that some people took my words wrong and assumed first before clarifying.
Instead of leaping to conclusions because you are confused about something I said--ask first and make sure.
When I said 'I hate these type of forums' I was referring to the introduction forum/thread not the overall website.
Though it may not be a requirement, it was communicated as such.

There is no requirement that you introduce yourself, it's merely common courtesy, as others have pointed out. Besides, DeeTee, in the time it took you to type out that snarky OP, you could have written a brief introduction and at least pretended to be a bit friendly. Instead you just look like a self-aggrandizing jerk.
