Even if Satan’s motivation for torturing humans is revenge against Yahweh/Allah, what possible satisfaction could be achieved by torturing people that god had already turned his back on for all eternity?
your point no 9 wins the case for u. Satan wants us to do wrong and god punishes wrong doers so Satan would be happy to see a wrong doer at his door step. in fact it could be party time in hell why would Satan punish his follower.

Satan cares nothing for those who will spend eternity in hell, evil cares for nothing or no one. Satan will be far to busy trying to handle his own punishment to worry about anyone else. For those who think hell will be a party, you are completely deluded in you thought, God ordained hell as punishment, that being the total opposite of the wonders of heaven.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Not exactly a newsflash. Everyone here knows that whoever believes in heaven and hell and Satan and god is completely deluded.

Then where does he find time to tempt everyone on earth with false religions and such?

Punishment for what again??? What exactly did humans do that was so awful???

o that's right, they were created by god with a human nature and put into a world that he decided he would never show up in. Worst fairy tale ever!! It doesn't even make sense!

RE: 10 Arguments Against Hell
No one has come across the argument against any eternal hell based on the laws of thermal dynamics, which even evolution denying creationist morons accept as a valid product of science?

First, We postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls must also also have a mass. Second, So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving? I think we can safely assume, based on no less an authority than Hellfire and brimstone preacher ranting at this moment on the corner between department of psychiatry and the university hospital, that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.

As for souls entering hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, then you will go to hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and souls go to hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially.

Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant. Two options exist:

If hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose.
If hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over.
So which is it? If we accept the quote given to me by Theresa Manyan during Freshman year, "that it will be a cold night in hell before I sleep with you" and take into account the fact that I still have NOT succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then Option 2 cannot be true...Thus, hell is exothermic, and will eventually break loose, releasing all souls.

Thus assumption of eternal hell from which no souls leave can not stand.

Err, Christians don't think the soul is physical at all. It has no mass. And I don't think modern Christians think hell is literally a fiery furnace. They either think Hell is actually worse (!) than what people think of it as or it's just simply non-existence.

What is causing the punishment?

In any case liberation from your useless tyrant god sounds wonderful. Hell cannot logically be awful if a person hates god so much they find co-existing with him more unbearable than eternal darkness.

The soul has moved on, onto bigger things than petty little tribal gods. It shapes its own destiny, becoming the master of its own fate, whether you like it or not.

You know, I still haven't heard a reason why some people "freely reject" God? Why would anyone reject God? If you say because of their hearts, then why do some people with sinful hearts reject God while others with sinful hearts accept him?

Does anyone? No one that I know of (edit to add: outside of the Chick Track characters, that is, and you really shouldn't get your information about atheists from this source). A few may joke about how the company will be better but this is more intended as an insult to the nature and likability of the "saved" than a serious speculation of the hereafter.

I think I speak for all my fellow skeptics when we say that we don't believe Hell exists at all. Hence the very subject of the OP.
